You Belong With Me

Chapter 4

Selena’s POV:

Days past quickly and everything went well, school was  going perfect as always. My ‘friendship’ with Rose was going to the good side and weird enough, she is really nice towards me and towards anybody. The only thing that drives me crazy is that Rose only talks about Justin. ‘Oh my god, I think I’m falling for Justin. He is so hot and beautiful. I think he also likes me. He is so damn perfect!’ That the only thing Rose says when she is with me. Like I didn’t know that he was damn perfect!

I was laying down on my bed, with a bad headache when I heard someone pull up in our driveway. It was just 8:00 so it couldn’t be Justin.

‘Selena, come downstairs!’ My mom yelled from downstairs.

‘Why, I have enough time!’ I screamed back. ‘It’s just 8, mom. I have at least an hour!’

Soon the door opened and I saw Justin walking in and smiling the smile that made me melt.

‘Why are you so early?’ I asked confused.

‘I wanted to treat you on coffee at Starbucks!’ Justin smiled.

‘Ehh…okay, I think…Why are you so happy?’

‘I am happy because-I will tell you later!’ Justin smile was getting bigger with each word. ‘Now get up!’

I stood up, turned the TV off, took my bag and walked with Justin downstairs.

‘Bye mom!’ I gave her a quick hug and then leaned down to put my sneakers on.

‘Bye honey, Bye Justin!’ my mom smiled. Ugh…why is everbody so happy except me?

I step into Justin’s car and we drove towards Starbucks.

‘You gonna tell me now why you are so happy?’

‘Ehh…what?’ Oh never mind, I was just happy!’ Justin tried to hide a smile what made me even more curious why he was so happy!

‘Well you told me that you would say to me later why you were so happy, and now its later so tell me!’

‘I think I’m in love!’ Justin blurted out.

Gone is my curiousity, I don’t want to know anything of Justin’s lovelife, I mean it’s obviously not me who he is in love with.

‘With Rose?’ I faked a smile.

Justin nodded.

‘Did you already do something with her?’

‘What do you mean?’ Justin asked without taking his eyes off the road.

‘Well, did you take her out? Dinner? Movies? I don’t know, something like that!’

‘Ehh…no not like that. We went to the park a few times and that’s it…’

‘Well, then ask her out for dinner!’ I said.

I can’t believe I’m suggesting things for Justin and Rose!

‘Do you think she also likes me?’ Justin asked.

‘Oh my gosh, Justin! You sounds like a girl!’ I laughed. ‘And ehh…yes she told me that’s she likes you a lot!’

How can I talk about this with Justin without being annoyed?

Justin parked his car in front of Starbucks and we went inside for coffee.

And of course, the only thing Justin talked about was Rose! It’s like there is something magical between them and gosh, I hate that magical so much!

After the coffee, we went back to the car.

The way to school I was lost in my thoughts about Justin and Rose. It’s just so stupid that my cousin is the one who has a crush on my crush! But after all I’m just his best friend or his ‘younger sister’ how he callls me.

‘Sel! We’re at school!’ Justin interrupted my thoughts. ‘What were you thinking?’

‘Ehh…what? Oh nothing!’ I said. ‘Nothing you care about!’ I whispered.

I wanted to go straight up to our class but Justin wanted to ask Rose out for tonight so I just went with him to her. Can’t believe I was there when Justin asked Rose out for the first time

So, Justin was searching all over for Rose and we finally saw her sitting at a table with some girls I don’t like.

‘Justin!’ Rose screamed when we walked towards her. She stood up and hugged Justin tightly and gave him a kiss on the cheek and I could see that Justin was going to be red as a tomato. In the middle of the hug, Rose saw me and smiled so I faked a smile back.

‘Are you free tonight?’ Justin asked when they were finally done with hugging.

‘Ehh…yeah…why?’ Rose asked smiling.

‘A surprise! I will pick you up tonight!’ Justin smiled.

Justin and Rose were so cute together and on the same time so digusting!

Justin gave my cousin a last kiss on the cheek and then went with me to our class.

‘What’s the surpirse?’ I asked but honestly it couldn’t care me.

‘I have no idea!’ Justin said and I laughed. ‘But you gonna help me, so it’s gonna be amazing!’

‘What?’ I asked in disblief. ‘I didn’t told you I’m gonna help you with your lovelife!’

‘You didn’t told me, but I know you would! I’m your best friend! Come on, Sel?!’ Justin begged.

‘Ughh…fine! Wanna skip class so we can digus your perfect night with Rose?’

‘Skipping? Class? You never skipped class before!’

‘I know but it’s just math, and we both hate math so it isn’t a big deal!’

‘Ehh…yeah sure!’ Justin smiled and we walked out of the school to the park.

‘So what do you want?’ I asked.

‘I don’t know, I think you know Rose better then me, she is your cousin, not mine!’

‘Yeah, but she gonna be your future girlfriend!’ I said annoyed.

The moment when I said ‘your future girlfriend’, I could see Justin smiling ear to ear.

‘Well, Rose likes big things so I think dinner-‘

‘Okay!’

‘I’m not done yet!’ I screamed. ‘Let me finish! She also like movies and the beach! So this is gonna be your perfect night: First you two going to dinner, then the movie and as last the beach! By the way, Rose don’t love junkfood!’

‘Are you and Rose really close?’

‘Ehh…no not really. Well when we were younger, we kinda were best friends but now we don’t really like each other!’

‘Rose told me that she really liked and respect you!’

Why would she tell that? Probably to be the ‘nice girl’ in front of Justin!

‘Anyway, why are you asking this?

‘I don’t know! I think it’s kinda cool if my best friend and my girlfriend, well future girlfriend, are best friends!’ Justin smiled.

I rolled my eyes. The thought of me and Rose being best friends again, is weird. You can’t go so quickly from haters to friends, that’s just weird!

We spend the rest of the day at Justin’s house with Jazzy and Jaxon who go back to Canada tomorrow.

I know that I didn’t write this week and I’m really sorry about that. But I was reading Fifty Shades Of Grey (Trilogy) the whole week and I also didn’t really know how to continue this story, but I know it now.

I’m also gonna thinking about a new story which gonna be really long, so that story would be post soon this summer.

By the way, my summer starts 14 July so I will post a lot of chapters this summer, and again I’m really sorry I didn’t post a chapter this week.
